Lend a Hand
Volunteer
Upstate Therapist Collective is growing — and we’d love to grow with the help of people who care about connection, collaboration, and creating a more supportive professional community. Volunteering with USTC is a way to get more involved, meet other therapists, contribute your strengths, and help shape the kinds of resources, events, and experiences our community offers.
You do not need to make a huge commitment. Some volunteer opportunities may be one-time, occasional, project-based, or ongoing depending on your interest and availability.
Community & Outreach
Help more therapists throughout the Upstate discover USTC and feel connected to the larger professional community.
This may include sharing upcoming events, connecting with local practices and organizations, helping welcome new members, or serving as a USTC ambassador in the community.
Events & Hospitality
Help us create gatherings that feel welcoming, organized, and easy to join.
Volunteers may help with event setup and cleanup, guest check-in, nametags, decorations, supplies, greeting attendees, or helping new members feel included.
We are especially interested in volunteers who enjoy being a friendly face for someone walking into a USTC event for the first time.
Creative & Communications
Love photography, writing, social media, design, or storytelling?
Creative volunteers may contribute event photography, social media content, graphics, newsletter pieces, member spotlights, website updates, or other projects that help us tell the story of the USTC community.
Resources & Special Projects
USTC hopes to become a useful hub for therapists across the Upstate.
Volunteers may help research and organize resources such as job opportunities, supervisors, CEUs, internship sites, community services, venues, and professional opportunities.
You may also volunteer for short-term projects, special events, trips, resource fairs, or new initiatives as USTC continues to grow.
Share Your Skills
Have an idea that isn’t listed here?
We’d still love to hear from you.
Maybe you want to host a coffee meetup, photograph an event, teach a short workshop, help organize a directory, connect us with a venue, or contribute a professional skill.
