Forming meaningful connections in the Upstate.
Our Mission
Upstate Therapist Collective was created to give therapists a place to connect outside of the therapy room. While our work can be deeply meaningful, it can also feel isolating, especially when so much of the day is spent supporting others. We wanted to create a space where therapists could simply show up, meet new people, and build genuine friendships with others who understand the profession.
Our focus is on community, connection, and having fun together. Through casual meetups, local outings, group activities, and special events, we create opportunities for therapists to step away from work, relax, and spend time with others in a low-pressure environment. You do not have to come prepared to network, promote yourself, or talk about work all evening — sometimes it is just nice to be around people who get it.
We believe community should feel welcoming and accessible. Whether you are newly licensed, have been practicing for years, recently moved to the Upstate, work independently, or simply want to expand your social circle, there is a place for you here. Our goal is to bring together therapists from different backgrounds, specialties, and workplaces while creating an inclusive environment where people can be themselves.
It’s simple: therapists deserve community, too.
We hope to make it easier to find your people, try something new, and build relationships that extend beyond professional connections.
